Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our STEM programs, enrollment, volunteering, and more.

Programs

We currently serve learners aged 8 to 18 (Grade 4 through Grade 12). Our Coding 101 programme starts with younger learners using Scratch, while older students progress to Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and competition-level robotics.

We offer four core pathways: Coding 101 (Scratch programming for beginners), Robotics Lab (Arduino and Raspberry Pi projects), Innovation & Maker Lab (3D design, electronics, and invention), and WRO Competitions (preparing learners for the World Robot Olympiad South Africa). All programs follow the CAPS Technology curriculum with our own expanded syllabus.

Sessions are held every Saturday morning from 09:00 to 14:00. This avoids disrupting the regular school week and allows learners from multiple schools in the area to attend.

All our programs are currently offered free of charge. We believe every child deserves access to quality STEM education regardless of their family's financial situation. We rely on donations, sponsorships, and partnerships to keep our programs running.

No. We provide all equipment including laptops, Arduino kits, Raspberry Pi boards, and robotics components during sessions. Learners just need to bring themselves and their curiosity!

Yes. Our curriculum is built around the CAPS Technology outcomes for the Intermediate and Senior phases, but we go further with hands-on project-based learning that gives learners real-world skills the textbook alone cannot provide.

Enrollment

You can enroll your child by filling out our online enrollment form on the Contact page (select 'Enroll a Student' as the enquiry type), or by calling us directly at +27 76 443 3250. We'll walk you through everything you need to know.

Sessions are currently held at Poguti Maribulla Primary School in Limpopo Province, South Africa. We're working on expanding to additional locations as we grow.

None at all! Our Coding 101 programme is designed for complete beginners — many of our learners have never used a computer before their first session. We meet every learner where they are.

Get Involved

We welcome volunteers and mentors with passion for STEM education. You don't need to be an engineer — if you can teach, mentor, or inspire, there's a place for you. Visit our Contact page and select 'Volunteer / Mentorship' to get started.

Absolutely! We work with businesses to provide equipment donations, funding, mentorship programmes, and industry exposure for our learners. Corporate partnerships also help us expand to new schools. Contact us to discuss how we can collaborate.

You can make a donation via EFT to our bank account, or through our online donation page. We accept one-time and monthly contributions. Every rand goes directly toward equipment, materials, and session delivery. Visit our Donate page for details.
